Today, we celebrated a special moment: Our participants, doctors from India, Syria, and Ukraine, have successfully passed the medical language exam! Now, they are focusing on further deepening their knowledge and preparing for the next challenge – the knowledge exam (KP).
We warmly congratulate them on this great success and are pleased to share a short interview with them:
What was the biggest challenge for you in preparing for the FSP?
Janina: "The technical terms were a big challenge for me. It was particularly demanding to use medical terminology correctly while communicating in structured German."
Which course contents helped you the most in preparing for the exam?
Raghad: "The simulated patient conversations and systematic case discussions were particularly valuable. Also, the repetition of medical terms and targeted practice with typical exam questions perfectly prepared me for the exam."
Was there a specific exercise or method that particularly helped you in learning?
Abhinaya: "Yes, the combination of simulated patient conversations and subsequent feedback rounds was particularly effective for me. Additionally, regularly writing medical histories helped me train my expression and internalize medical language."
How did the other course participants help you in preparing?
Raghad: "The other course participants were a great support. We motivated each other and worked together to find solutions."
Does the internship phase play a role in preparing for the FSP and KP?
Janina: "Absolutely. The internship phase in the clinic was extremely important as we got to know different procedures and experience practical cases in medicine."
Would you recommend our course for preparing for the FSP and KP with an internship phase to others?
Abhinaya: "I would recommend the brmi Academy for Healthcare Professions as a targeted path to licensure for foreign doctors. Here, they not only receive professional support but also a personal mentorship to improve their German language skills."
We are proud of our participants and wish them continued success – both in the knowledge exam and in their future professional careers in Germany!
