Worum geht es?
We are a non-profit, recognized educational institution for medical professionals with foreign qualifications. Our courses prepare participants for the recognition of their educational credentials through specialized language and medical knowledge courses.
Participants from diverse backgrounds (refugees and other immigrants) predominantly come to us through employment agencies and job centers.
Our services include connecting participants with contacts in their local area whenever possible. This aims to provide them with opportunities to practice the language they have learned.
What a Language Mentorship Means
With your interest in other countries and cultures, you can make a significant contribution to the integration of medical professionals by becoming a volunteer language mentor.
These are highly qualified individuals who aim to integrate quickly into German society and the workforce. The opportunity to practice the language learned in courses with native speakers, while also gaining insight into German culture and life, supports and motivates our participants in their challenging endeavor.
However, a language mentorship is not a one-sided affair. Our experienced mentors often find great joy, new knowledge, and personal recognition through their interactions with our participants.
